You can request deletion of your ShopQuery account and personal data by emailing [email protected] from the email address associated with your account.
Use the subject “ShopQuery data deletion request” and include your name, the name of your business or ShopQuery merchant, and the email address or phone number associated with the account. Do not send passwords, payment-card details, access tokens, or identity documents unless our privacy team specifically requests additional verification through a secure channel.
We may take reasonable steps to verify that the requester is the account owner or an authorised representative of the relevant merchant. If we need more information, we will contact you using the details already associated with the account where possible.
Verification protects accounts and customer data from unauthorised deletion.
Once the request is verified, we will delete or anonymise personal data associated with the account, including profile information and Meta-derived data held by ShopQuery. Where applicable, we will also revoke or remove ShopQuery's stored access to connected Meta and WhatsApp business assets.
Deleting data from ShopQuery does not delete a Facebook account, WhatsApp account, Meta business portfolio, WhatsApp Business Account, phone number, or catalog owned and controlled directly through Meta. Those assets can be managed separately in Meta's products.
We will acknowledge the request and aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. We will send confirmation when the request is complete or explain if additional time or information is reasonably required.
We may retain limited information where required by applicable law, needed to establish or defend legal claims, prevent fraud or abuse, maintain security, or complete an outstanding transaction. Any retained information will remain access-controlled, be used only for the applicable purpose, and be deleted or anonymised when the retention requirement ends.
